Startup: Unable to find IOFFICE directory - aborting



When starting IslandDraw, one customer kept on getting the following error message:

 Unable to find IOFFICE directory

Setting the IOFFICE environment variable correctly didn't fix the problem.


Island products check for the existence of certain files and directories upon startup.  If one of these required files or directories is missing, the application assumes that the IOFFICE setting is wrong, resulting in the message.  In this case, the files "Island" and "Version" were missing from the IOFFICE directory.
